D Cappella: A cappella Disney Style!

In April 2018, Disney Music Group announced the formation of a new a cappella vocal group, D Cappella. The Group kicked off it's 2019 US tour on January 22 and will wrap up their 40 city tour in Oakland Calf, on March 17.

A cappella legend Deke Sharon ("Pitch Perfect" "Straight No Chaser" music arranger) and Creative Director Jim Millan created "D Cappella," a Pentatonix-style vocal performance show built around a 7-voice part group of performers, (Antonio Fernandez – Vocal Percussion, Joe Santoni – Bass, Morgan Keene – Soprano, Orlando Dixon – Baritone, RJ Woessner – Tenor, Shelley Regner – Mezzo, Sojourner Brown – Alto). The Disney vocal group will present new, contemporary arrangements of Disney repertoire the will delight Disney music fans of all ages.

This family friendly tour will showcase the voices of some of the most talented A cappella performers in the US. Each performer brings their unique experience to the show as they delight the audience with Disney favorites. Be sure to check out the tour dates to see if they are coming to your area.

Meet the members of D Cappella:

ANTONIO FERNANDEZ

Voice Part:  Vocal Percussion

Has been performing for the last 15 years. He is a Three-time award winner for the A Cappella category in the 2016 Independent Music Awards in collaboration with Deejay Young on their original song “Box”. Antonio was also Vocal Captain for ‘American Music Machine,’ an a cappella group at the Disney Parks.

JOE SANTONI

Voice Part: Bass

Has been performing for the past 12 to 13 year. He performed Zelda, Symphony of Goddesses with the LA Choral Lab to a sold out crowd at the Dolby Theater.

MORGAN KEENE

Voice Part: Soprano

Has been performing for 11 years. She was part of the national tour of “Newsies” for 1.5 years in the role of "Katherine".

ORLANDO DIXON

Voice Part: Baritone

Has performed professionally for 11 years, singing for 19 years. He was a Finalist on The Voice and is a Composer Billboard Top 20 Song.

RJ WOESSNER

Voice Part: Tenor

Has been performing professionally for 8 years, singing for 17 years. He was a member of ‘Vocalosity’; and ‘Pitch Slapped’ at Berklee College of Music

SHELLEY REGNER

Voice Part: Mezzo

Grew up singing in choir. Began her a cappella career in Pitch Perfect, and went on to star in all three installments as “Ashley”.

SOJOURNER BROWN

Voice Part: Alto

Has been performing for 18 years. Performed at the 2017 Tony Awards and was a member of APC Rhythm a cappella group.
